The National System of the Administration of Property (SINAP) project is a feasibility study project with the primary objective of examining the potential in the development and implementation of a territorial information network for Honduras. The project altogether lasts 12 months with the collaboration of the Coordinating Unit of Projects UCP working with ICT Development Group, a division RADARSAT International, a company MDA.
The SINAP project is financed by the Canadian Agency of Development Industry (ACDI - CIDA - INC.) and includes a feasibility study, technology transference, qualification and demonstrative portal. The feasibility phase of the project will finalize in July 2005.
SINAP is a fundamental part of the present effort in Honduran construction for mechanisms to improve the territorial administration and human resources as well as the Program Administration of Honduran Territories (PATH) financed by the World Bank and the project of ACDI-CIDA, Project for the Improvement of the Health (PROMISES). These projects form the decision making capacity from local actors and municipal actors in the handling of natural resources and agricultural development.
